Resilience, Wellbeing and the Workplace Conference

This is a free event for everyone who is interested in emotional resilience, recovery and the workplace.

The conference will host the launch of the European Mental Health and Work toolkits. These have been designed to help employers, individuals and clinical staff do the right things to help people with mental health conditions retain employment.

The day will include expert speakers from Central Government, the business community and the clinical community, from the UK and Europe.

There will also be opportunities to hear from experts on the role of employment in recovery and the workplace as a vehicle for health improvement. The day will include workshops looking at the following subjects:

  • Work as recovery – the clinical case
  • The Workplace and individual resilience
  • Promoting wellbeing in the workplace – the employer view
  • Wellbeing and profit – why staff wellbeing increases profits
  • Good Work for Good Health – what is good work and how do we change our workplaces?
  • Doing the right thing? Tools to Support Employers retain staff with mental health conditions
  • Using the workplace to achieve health improvement Commissioning employment support services
