North West Operational Programme 2007-2013

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is responsible for managing the North West Operational Programme and has been allocated £560 million to spend in the region from 2007-2013.
The programme is organised into five priority areas:
- Priority 1: Stimulating Enterprise and Supporting Growth in Target Sectors and Markets
- Priority 2: Exploiting Innovation and Knowledge
- Priority 3: Creating the Conditions for Sustainable Growth
- Priority 4: Growing and Accessing Employment.
- Priority 5: Technical Assistance

New Economy’s role, as sub-regional partner for Manchester, is to coordinate, support and promote NWOP activities in the City Region.

ERDF Showcase Event

The first sub regional event of its kind in the North West. The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Showcase will focus on how Greater Manchester has maximised investment opportunities from the North West Operational Programme 2007-2013.
